“We belong to this country and where else would something like this happen where the whole of Australia put their foot down as said, ‘No we are all equal and need to be treated the same’."Ms Price said her daughter was raised with the values that Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians were both “equal”.
Upon learning that polls were indicating the majority of the Northern Territory had voted no, Bess revealed she was not surprised by the outcome.
