A well-known soap actor who was arrested on suspicion of rape following an alleged incident at a London house party has had their case dropped, the Met Police has confirmed
A famous soap actor who was arrested on suspicion of rape earlier this year has had their case dropped, a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police has confirmed.
The accused actor is also in his 20s, and the incident reportedly took place in a residential property in South London. The authorities have now confirmed that no further action will be taken in the case and it has officially been closed. "Following extensive enquiries, no further action will be taken and the case has been closed. Both parties have been informed."A source reportedly close to the actor has also claimed to The Sun that news of the case closing will "come as a huge relief".
