Some people with disabilities say a lack of accessible parking spoiled their summer concert experience at Blossom Music Center
CUYAHOGA FALLS , Ohio - Blossom Music Center is one of the most iconic venues in Northeast Ohio. However, some people with disabilities say a lack of accessible parking spoiled their summer concert experience.
“I had a baseball-sized brain tumor,” Williams explained. “It was called acoustic neuroma, and that’s a brain tumor on your acoustical nerve, your hearing nerve, and that controls your balance.”“The best way to describe to someone that’s not disabled is, you know those fun house bridges that are wobbly, just imagine walking like that constantly,” Williams said.“We got there about two hours early before the concert started,” said Williams.
She even took a photo of her watch showing just how far the walk from the venue to the lot was, nearly a mile. “I mean gates don’t open any earlier than I got here,” said Considine. “What do you want me to do? Climb the fence?”
