Stone and Parker also noted that they’re waiting for the United States presidential election to be over before continuing with South Park. “We’ve tried to do South Park through four or five presidential elections, and it is such a hard thing to—it’s such a mind scramble, and it seems like it takes outsized importance,” Stone said. “Obviously, it’s f***ing important, but it kind of takes over everything and we just have less fun.Since South Park Season 26 concluded, there have been three specials that have aired: 2023’s South Park: Joining the Panderverse, 2023’s South Park , and 2024’s South Park: The End of Obesity.
