A note was placed in the window - but the store's closure is temporary
A worldwide coffee shop chain has closed one of its Nottingham sites. Starbucks, in Upper Parliament Street, has closed its doors to customers and was today being emptied.
However, the store manager of the Upper Parliament Street branch said the site had been temporarily closed for a month for a full refurbishment. It's set to reopen on August 16. Another said: "It always used to be rammed but it really seemed to tail off after the pandemic. Last time I went in it wasn't very busy at all."
