Asked if he has noticed Kwan getting frustrated at all, Vogt said the Gold Glove left fielder does a good job of keeping his emotions in check.
Royals manager Matt Quatraro was back in the Kansas City dugout Wednesday after missing the first two games of the series to attend memorial services for his mother, Dorann M. Stagnitta, who died recently. Vogt, whose own mother passed during the 2016 season, empathized with his friend and said he missed seeing him across the field. But Vogt said he understands that in life, there are things that take priority over baseball, no matter what.
