Manchester United beat Leicester City 5-2 on Wednesday night at Old Trafford
Leicester City manager Steve Cooper has taken a swipe at the Old Trafford atmosphere during Wednesday's 5-2 League Cup defeat to Manchester United - insisting it didn't intimidate his players.
Interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy oversaw responsibilities on Wednesday night and saluted the Old Trafford faithful as he made his way to the dugout before the game, which was met with rapturous applause from the Stretford End.However, Foxes boss Cooper admitted the atmosphere at Old Trafford wasn't what he and his player were expecting when they travelled up from the East Midlands.
Van Nistelrooy is reportedly set to take over the next three games at Old Trafford before Ruben Amorim takes charge of the Reds for the first time at Portman Road on November 24th when United travel to Ipswich Town.
