The Hearts boss reckons his side have been the victims of some 'strange' decisions.
Fuming Steven Naismith claimed Hearts are the victims of ‘crazy’ and ‘strange’ refereeing decisions after crashing out of the Viaplay Cup.
Skipper Lawrence Shankland tucked the penalty away to make the end result 3-1 but Naismith was left convinced that his side is being treated unfairly by officials. He said: “It’s crazy. To think he would try to dive when the ball is miles away, going out of the park. He was never going to get a penalty for a dive. It's just strange that that seems to happen and first thought is ‘red card’ when it is a clear kick.
Hearts fell behind at the start of the second half after Walsh pointed to the spot for a foul on striker Danilo by Tynecastle keeper Zander Clark. But Naismith had no argument over that award. He went on: “The game changes on the penalty so quickly after half-time. "The one thing I would add to that is I find it frustrating that the first thought for Celtic against us at Tynecastle was 'penalty', the first thought today was 'penalty', but for us the first thought was 'red card'.”
