Carrick produce second comeback victory over Glentoran this season
Stuart King revealed Curtis Allen was "hammering" him in the changing room after the striker came off the bench to secure a massive win for Carrick Rangers at Glentoran on Saturday. But you can't keep a good man down as Allen proved when he replaced Danny Purkis, who had scored twice to leave the game on a knife edge at 2-2.
"Curtis was in the changing room hammering me because we picked up all three and he scored the winner!"Curtis has been nursing a hamstring, and Danny came off because he's been carrying one too. "Everyone connected to the club has all taken grief this week, but genuinely what do people want," asked King.
"We got eight points against the top six sides last season, we've now got 10 and there's just over a third of the season gone.
