Wasteful Accies let a two-goal lead slip at Forthbank

Kevin O'Hara saw a last-gasp penalty saved as Hamilton Accies lost their 100 per cent start to the League One season - just hours after they saw teen starlet Ryan Oné leave the club.

In the 90th minute O'Hara had the chance to keep the record intact from the penalty spot, but he was denied by former Accies goalkeeper Blair Currie. Inside 90 seconds Jackson Longridge unleashed a left-foot drive from distance and his deflected effort flew narrowly wide in a bright start from the visitors.

Euan Henderson and Barjonas then both brought out good saves from Currie as the Binos continued to keep the league leaders at bay. Dale Carrick did well to keep the ball in and when he hooked it back into the danger area, Lewis Milne nodded the ball towards the back post to leave Cooper with the straight forward task of poking the ball home from all of one yard.
