Anti-social behaviour, and how it is being handled, is to be the focus of a briefing to Stirling’s councillors.

Local SNP councillor Susan McGill recently pushed Stirling Council to act on increasing reports of anti-social behaviour in communities across Stirling .

Officers revealed that 15 Acceptable Behaviour Contracts had been issued, four Good Neighbour Agreements, 21 Unacceptable Behaviour Notices, and one Anti-Social Behaviour Order . Two internal member briefings have now been arranged between officers and councillors to identify trends and discuss a plan of action.

Cllr McGill said: “I’m sure my mailbox is similar to others in showing an increase in anti-social behaviour so would it be possible to have an all-members briefing to share information and get a better understanding of what the problem is and the procedures and timescales involved.”
