A man has been arrested after police discovered three cars stolen from Merseyside inside a vehicle 'chop shop' in a quiet North Wales village. Officers visiting a property in Betws yn Rhos, noticed cars that had been dismantled at the location. A statement released by the North Wales Police Rural Crime Team said: 'Three cars reported stolen from Merseyside have been recovered from a premises in Conwy. During a planned visit to an address in Betws yn Rhos yesterday .
Further checks on the vehicles revealed they had been reported stolen.' The statement continued: 'A 39-year-old man from Betws yn Rhos was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods. He has since been released under investigation while our officers make further inquiries.', reports North Wales Live .
