Morrisons has dropped the price of confectionery tubs to just £2 for a limited time only in the run up to Christmas . Across all branded favourites, including Celebrations, Quality Street and Cadbury , loyalty card holders of the supermarket can save over 66 per cent when spending £45 or more in-store.
The tubs of the sweet treats, usually priced at £6, have become must-have items for family gatherings during the holidays. Sustainability concerns have pushed some brands to return to metal tins or more environmentally friendly packaging.Cadbury and Rowntree were among the first companies to create chocolate boxes in decorative tins, which became popular for gifting from the early 20th century, reports WalesOnline.
