Strictly Come Dancing is set to return to our screens later this year and the first celebrity to join the 2024 line-up has been confirmed by This Morning as comedian Chris McCausland
Chris McCausland has been announced as the first celebrity to waltz into the line-up of Strictly Come Dancing 2024.
Revealed live on the ITV morning programme by Josie and Craig, Chris joked that his participation is "the worst kept secret". Currently, Chris entertains viewers with his own Saturday morning chat show on ITV called The Chris McCausland Show and co-writes and stars in 'Bad Tidings', a festive family comedy set to premiere on Sky this Christmas season.
The line-up of celebrities eagerly awaiting to discover their professional dance partners is abuzz with anticipation. Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola have all been confirmed to be coming back.
