The Scouse comedian lifted the lid on the moment it all went wrong on Saturday's show
Strictly Come Dancing 's Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland were flooded with support as they reflected on Saturday's show. The Liverpool comedian is the show's first ever blind contestant and has emerged as an early favourite with his inspiring performances. However, he suffered a setback on Halloween Week as he finished joint bottom of the leaderboard after his Samba.
That would be terrible wouldn't it. It would be awful. And that's what panics me. And I overcompensated with enthusiasm and energy. 'And ultimately I got penalised for trying to have too much fun.' However, Dianne assured Chris he still performed well as she pointed to the extreme challenges he overcomes to step out on the dancefloor each week.
