Strictly Come Dancing favourite Chris McCausland and his family welcomed a new addition earlier this year - but there was a lot of debate about whether they should take the plunge
Strictly Come Dancing 's Chris McCausland has opened up about a family disagreement that led to a new four-legged friend joining their household. Despite being tipped as the favourite to win this year's BBC dance contest, Chris didn't have the same luck when it came to a debate at home about getting a dog.
"So Dora, I would like to say it was a family decision. There are three in our family. Me, my wife, my daughter. It was something that was discussed at great length," reports the Liverpool Echo. "We live in a flat still with no immediate access to outside. I was like: 'Well why don't we just leave it a little bit. When we moved house we can look at getting a dog, and we can get a proper size dog.'
