Would you like to see Strictly include same sex couples?
Matt Evers says Strictly Come Dancing will be "under pressure" to have a same sex couple on this year's series following his emotional performance with Ian 'H' Watkins.
Professional skater Matt has now reflected on their performance, saying: "It has been so emotional. The highlight of my career."What we did was amazing and there will definitely be pressure for them to follow suit.Strictly Come Dancing did win praise last year when professional dancers Johannes Radebe and Graziano Di Prima performed a dance together during a results show.
A representative for Strictly Come Dancing declined to respond to Matt's comments when contacted by OK! online but the show did comment on being open to same sex pairings back in July.View gallery They said at the time: "Strictly Come Dancing is an inclusive show and we are proud to have featured same-sex dancing amongst the professional dancers in group numbers in previous series.
But it seems not everybody was happy with professional dancers Graziano and openly gay Johannes's performance — with it being revealed that almost 200 viewers complained about the dance.
