Sainsbury's has put a 22.8% increase on its 250g block of butter, taking it from £1.75 to a staggering £2.15.Only last month we reported how customers were criticising Morrisons, when it put the price of the product up to £1.99 and the increase at Sainsbury's now makes it the most expensive of the lot for butter - and the second most expensive overall.
