Inspired by her fight to save the life of an abandoned baby when volunteering in Kenya, Sarah Lynne's journey started with the London Marathon and will end with a double marathon through the Sahara desert

complications after being abandoned in a septic pit at birth. Sarah said:"It was an incredibly emotional time. I made a promise to this little boy, that I’d do my best to fight for medical care for every baby, the way I’d fought for him.

"I’ll never forget him and I’m so glad to say that he’s now a very happy and healthy young child. I feel a very strong connection with him, as we’ve both triumphed over different forms of adversity. His poignant story changed my life and ultimately led me to start volunteering with UNICEF, so as I could keep my promise to him and to every child in danger.
