‘It was great to see the old faces and also perform for David and Alesha, because last time it was Piersy baby that was on the judges panel,’ she said. ‘He was one of the reasons I went to audition in the first place, I thought Piers was rather special!’But Susan recently revealed that‘Life before BGT was incredibly hard, I’d been the sole carer for my elderly mother, money was incredibly tight and I struggled to pay the bills and buy food,’ she said.She added: ‘I’m not a big spender, because for 47 years I didn’t have any money, so I like to save it for a rainy day.
