A sweet-toothed shoplifter is behind bars for the second time this year – this time for stealing more than 140 chocolate bars worth £116.
The sticky-fingered thief stole 48 Twix bars, 48 Snickers bars, 24 Bounty bars and 24 Yorkie bars from a Co-Op in Worthing, West Sussex on April 13. He was also caught loading five large packets and bottles of washing detergent into a black rucksack, then snatching 10 jars of coffee from another shop.
As well as the 10 jars of coffee, Thomson also pilfered five packets of washing detergent, two bottles of vodka and a large amount of meat from various stores around the seaside town over the space of a few weeks, police said.
