Sword-wielding man storms Church of Scientology in LA and opens fire
A SWORD-wielding man stormed a Church of Scientology and fired at officers before being gunned down.AP:Associated PressPolice said the suspect, described only as an Asian male, entered the church wearing a hoodie at about 3.30pm on Wednesday, but it is not yet clear what happened inside.
When cops responded, one officer was shot in the hand and the other in the forearm, Inglewood Police Lt. Neal Cochran said.The suspect was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Los Angeles County Fire Department Inspector Scott Elliott told KTLA.
