Tasmania’s Parliament has seen hundreds of protestors gather outside to oppose the $715 million plans to build a stadium in the state’s capital city of Hobart.
The protests follow two Tasmanian MPs quitting the state’s elected Liberal Party yesterday which has plunged the nation’s last Liberal government into a minority.
The stadium was a key condition from the AFL before they approved a 19th team licence for Tasmania to enter the competition.
