Taylor Swift comes to Edinburgh for the first of three shows taking place at Murrayfield Stadium.
Thousands of Taylor Swift fans have descended on Edinburgh for the first show in the UK leg of the Eras Tour
Swift has been active within the music industry since 2003. She started her career as a young country/pop musician at age 14, signing with Big Machine Records – her debut self-titled album Taylor Swift was released the following year. The Eras Tour started in March 2023 and is expected to become the highest grossing tour in music history, making Swift a billionaire.
Ellie saw the tour in Australia as well. Her show on Friday night will mean she’s seen Taylor 11 times. It will be the first of 17 UK dates, culminating in a record-breaking eight-night run at London’s Wembley Stadium.Lily and Grace from Aberdeen were number one and two in the queue outside Murrayfield this morning.Lily says: “I love Taylor Swift so much so if I can be as close as I can to her, I’ll do anything to be there.
