This will be the first holiday season they won't be spending together in 13 years. Mellencamp will be bringing their three kids — Slate, 12, Dove, 3, and Cruz, 10 — to her father's home in Indiana. Arroyave will be spending the holiday with his relatives, including his eldest daughter from a previous relationship.
Mellencamp recently filed new court documents, requesting joint physical and legal custody of their children, aligning with Arroyave's request for shared custody. The couple filed for divorce on November 1, citing irreconcilable differences
