When Polish teenager Urszula Grzelak came to stay with her aunt in the U.K, the then-16-year-old didn’t expect to fall in love.
The now-19-year-old from Warsaw, Poland, moved in with Nigel, now 61, with her aunt who had been having problems at home.
While her aunt was at work, Urszula spent a lot of time with Nigel, visiting tourist attractions and getting to know him.On the day she was due to fly back home, Nigel went to the airport to confess that he felt the same. Since then the pair maintained a long-distance relationship before Urszula eventually moved into the UK to live with him.
Though her parents are now on board, the couple still gets harsh comments from strangers about their 42-year-age gap.Urszula has been branded a ‘gold digger’ and Nigel a ‘sugar daddy’ but they have learnt to ignore the comments as they are just two people in love.‘I felt very enthusiastic and full of positive energy when I realised I was falling in love with him,’ explained the teen.‘I could stare at him while he was talking, watch him endlessly doing something.
