An 18 year-old boy who raped his neighbor then offered to do her housework to apologize for the attack has been jailed for 50 years.
Walding broke into the woman’s house while wearing a mask, then tied her up and threatened her with a knife before sexually assaulting her for 90 minutes. Afterwards, Walding let his victim get dressed, and talked with her, before taking off his mask and showing her who he was. Asked by the woman why he had attacked her, Walding answered: ‘Obviously it wasn’t a spontaneous thing and I had this plan.’And the seemingly contrite rapist is then said to have offered to do yard work or fix something around the woman’s house to make up for what he had done.
