Alejandro Garnacho reportedly wanted Erik ten Hag to give him some space during Manchester United's Europa League draw with FC Twente according to Dutch legend and former Premier League manager Ruud Gullit's observations.
Ex-Chelsea and Newcastle boss Gullit, who was providing punditry for Ziggo Sport in the Netherlands, interpreted Garnacho's body language as the 20 year old prepared to join the game. " wanted to have a meeting with Garnacho, but he didn't feel like it at all," Gullit said. "Garnacho was preparing to come on and Ten Hag kept talking to him.
"Ten Hag expressed his disappointment following the team's draw, which now sets Manchester United on a quest for success away to Porto in their next Europa League fixture; the aim is to secure a strong position within the top eight of the new league phase."
