The PM faced shouts from the gathered crowd about 'how many more children are going to die over violence'

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer was berated by some in a crowd as he visited Southport today to lay a wreath after three young girls were stabbed to death at a Taylor Swift-themed holiday club. The PM's visit came as they were named as six-year-old Bebe King, seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, aged nine.

When are you going to do something?" "It's been quite tense here, there's a lot of anger in the community over what's happened," said Manchester Evening News reporter Imogen Clyde-Smith at the scene. "Emotions are running high here."
