Vernon Kay revealed a secret about how he met Tess Daly – and it’s a story that left one of his co-star shocked when he told it. Vernon left his Radio 2 buddy Scott Mills gobsmacked with a bombshell about how he encountered his now-wife Tess and the part Britney Spears played in it.
Tess and Vernon were both presenters on the music show at the time and producers sent them to record a piece, part of which was them recreating Britney’s iconic Hit Me Baby One More Time video. “She was dressed as Geri Halliwell in the Spice Girls Union Jack dress; I was dressed as Britney Spears in the 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' video. School uniform. It was in a charity shop on Shepherd's Bush Green," recalled Vernon.
