🥁 11-year-old Sam Bickmore is a drumming sensation. Watch out, world! 🌍

When he takes his seat behind the drum kit, 11-year-old Sam Bickmore from Grantham can barely be seen over the cymbals and snares, but as soon as he starts playing, you are left in awe.

Unlike most child prodigies, he’s not under pressure from pushy parents. He spends most of his time doing the most important thing an 11-year-old can do – being a child.“He goes to gymnastics and likes going to play football or ride on his bike with his friends”, his parents Sarra and Gary said.“We never put any pressure on him to play – a lot of it is genuinely just natural talent and comes from enjoyment.

Sam’s popular YouTube clips saw him headhunted by CAODS Lincoln for their production of School of Rock this year, where he unsurprisingly stole the show as drummer Freddy Jones. They continue: “There is absolutely no rush though. We just want him to enjoy it and keep on developing – we have plenty of time for Sam to be an adult in the future, so for now it is about taking on these opportunities he gets here and there.
