Speaking at Wondercon last weekend, Steve admitted that they knew ‘pretty early on’ that season 12 would be the show’s final farewell, and added: ‘It’s hitting us that it’s the last time we’re going to do this or that’.But they’re in safe hands after recruiting the help of Friends writer Marta Kauffman to give it the send-off it deserves.
Writer Tara Hernandez explained they met at an event where she told them the best way to get through what they were going through. Tara revealed Kauffman said: ‘It’s going to be so hard on you. But you’ll fall in love with the next one. You have to fall in love with the next [show].’ The cast and crew recently celebrated The Big Bang Thoery becoming the longest running multi-cam sitcom ever The final episode, which is set to air on May 16, will round off the lives of the science geeks and send them off for a future without us.
