With Christmas just around the corner, an important race has begun
As of now, the race for this year’s Christmas Number One is on, with some 'wicked' songs among the contenders.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Band Aid have released a new song made up of blended versions of older editions. They have blended the 1984’s original, 2004’s Band Aid 20 iteration and 2014’s Band Aid 30 rendition. East 17 has re-released their 30-year-old song to raise money for Nordoff and Robbins, a music therapy charity.
Official Charts also said a new release of the Wicked musical song ‘Defying Gravity’, sung by the star of the film Cynthia Erivo, featuring actress and singer Ariana Grande could also be at chart-topper at Christmas, along with YouTuber KSI’s ‘Thick Of It’ with Trippie Redd.
