The Cut & Craft, a renowned steakhouse known for its all-day dining and locally-sourced ingredients, will open its doors in a stunning Grade II* listed former bank building in Manchester city centre on April 28th, 2025. To celebrate Valentine's weekend, the restaurant group is unveiling a 15ft sparkling chandelier in Manchester city centre, offering a unique photo opportunity and priority booking access to the new restaurant.

A lavish new steak house taking shape inside an historic former bank building in Manchester has confirmed its opening date. The Cut & Craft is one of the most eagerly anticipated new openings in the city centre this year. Bosses are busy crafting a spectacular interior inside the stunning Grade II* listed former RBS Bank building on the corner of Mosley Street and York Street.

The restaurant is well known in its original Leeds and York locations for offering an all-day dining experience, with locally-reared steaks and fish specials. Now, bosses have confirmed the opening date for the Manchester restaurant will be Monday, April 28. They have also confirmed that online bookings will open from later today. Table bookings for up to 12 guests can be made for breakfast, lunch and dinner experiences. Although bosses have added a quirky extra touch for those aiming to be one of the first to book into the new venue. As the restaurant group is known for its tall elegant floor to ceiling windows and grand chandeliers, in true Cut & Craft style the team has now built a 15ft sparkling chandelier in Manchester city centre to celebrate Valentine's weekend. The chandelier will be in place from 4pm on Wednesday 12th through to Sunday 16th February until 10pm (each day) on King Street, located beside posh jewellers Boodles. In the name of love, The Cut & Craft is encouraging Mancunians to snap a picture kissing under the chandelier as the perfect Valentine's photo moment. Anyone who kisses under the chandelier with a loved one, best friend, or four legged friend, will receive a print-out photograph to cherish forever. AND access to a priority booking link for the new restaurant. Under the chandelier, bookings for April can be made on 12th February by simply scanning a QR code, which will take loved-up punters to a secret bookings page. Regular bookings will then be opening from Thursday February 13. The Cut & Craft was first established in 2019 in York, and opened its second site in Leeds Victoria Quarter in 2022. The Cut & Craft’s 2025 flagship Manchester restaurant will mark the third site for the award-winning Northern restaurant group. The independent restaurant group employs its own dedicated master butcher, and has earned a unique reputation for delivering high quality, affordable luxury hospitality experiences in the North of England. The Cut & Craft Leeds has won Restaurant of the Year 2022 and 2023 at the Yorkshire Business Awards, and was just listed as one of Opentable’s top 100 most romantic restaurants for 2025
