Pendle, Burnley, Hyndburn and Blackpool all make the top ten list of places with the worst energy efficiency
Lancashire has more towns with poor energy efficiency than any other area in the UK, new research reveals.
Pendle has the second-worst energy efficiency in the whole of the UK and the worst in all of Lancashire with just 21.8 percent of homes with a ‘good’ EPC rating of C or above. In comparison, Tower Hamlets in London, the UK area with the best energy efficiency, has 76 percent of homes with a ‘good’ EPC rating of C or above.
