Last summer's event saw thousands of people enjoy a series of free events and activities throughout the day

A free festival for the people of Stretford is returning to the town next year. The neighbourhood festival will feature a day of music, art, dance, and interactive workshops, across Stretford’s favourite venues and public spaces.

This spring edition will celebrate ‘new beginnings’ - with the development work across Stretford town centre now well underway with King Street due to open later in the year.Last summer's event saw thousands of people enjoy a series of free events and activities throughout the day, and the next instalment of the festival looks to build on its success to increase footfall and spotlight the neighbourhood as new areas take shape.

The festival also coincides with the 10th anniversary of Stretford Public Hall’s transfer into community ownership. Friends of Stretford Public Hall will be hosting their birthday celebration during the event, so visitors can expect music, dancing and celebration at the Hall throughout the day.
