Cases of dog cruelty have soared in Greater Manchester, new shocking RSPCA figures have now revealed. Cruelty to the animals rose in 2023 by almost 20 per cent from the previous year.
The new figures have been released by the RSPCA as part of its No Animal Deserves Cruelty summer appeal. It’s believed he had been deliberately thrown down the bank and then became entangled on the pole, although it’s not known whether he was dead or alive at this stage.
