Finally landing in the UK today.

Based on the Walter Tevis novel and a sequel to the chilling David Bowie movie of the same name, stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as Faraday, an alien who lands on Earth at a pivotal moment in its history.

With the future of the planet at stake, Faraday has to look back at his own personal history to save and determine the future. Naomie Harris also stars alongside Ejiofor as engineer and scientist Justin Falls, who also has to confront a few things as she joins him to save two worlds. Ejiofor and Harris are also joined by the likes of Rob Delaney, Kate Mulgrew, Clarke Peters, Jimmi Simpson and Bill Nighy as Thomas Jerome Newton, the same role that Bowie played in the 1976 film."By choosing to bring the character back, you are casting somebody who will inevitably be compared to David Bowie, no matter what you do," showrunner Alex Kurtzman told.

"One of the things that really gave me a lot of comfort was knowing that Bill knew Bowie a little bit, at least enough to understand what his presence and spirit felt like in person. "He was channeling something about that performance, but also, he was doing his own thing. And Bill would tell you himself that he really, really wanted to honor Bowie and his performance."with the launch of Paramount+ today , and the series is already airing in the US.
