Theme nights, battle royales and multiple unmaskings!
Usually, the four judges – Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke – vote for their favourite performer alongside the audience. The celebrity with the fewest votes is then eliminated and they take off their costume to reveal their identity.
Now, however, only one act will make it through each show – meaning there will be multiple disguised celebrities performing each week but only one goes through to the next stage of the competition. This means there will be many more celebrity unmaskings during each episode. The singer with the fewest studio audience votes will be unmasked mid-show.Then, the top two singers with the most votes will face off in a"Battle Royale" wherein they perform the same song and the winning performer will be named King or Queen of
