Police and the DVLA towed a total of 14 vehicles
This is the moment police siezed a luxury sports car as part of an operation dubbed 'bin the bangers' The Audi RS5 was seized by officers in Lancashire as part of a crackdown on vehicles with no tax or MOT.
In total, they seized 14 vehicles with no tax and handed out 11 abandonment notices. A further five fixed penalty notices were issued for cars with no MOT or registration plate. Footage showed the motor being hosted off the street and onto the back of a low-loader. The action was part of Lancashire Police's 'Bin the Bangers' campaign, Lancs Live reports,
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "A Bin The Bangers update. On Friday November 1, Pendle Neighbourhood Policing Team with the support of the DVLA and the council visited several areas in Nelson. We discovered more untaxed vehicles around the Bradley Road area in Nelson and Railway Street in Nelson."
