The Monster Hunter Wilds roadmap is still pretty vague right now, but we do at the very least know that there are two free updates coming: One in early April, and one in the summer.

Capcom has just trickled a few interesting deets on what we can expect in the April update, though things are still mostly vague as we head into launch. We can likely expect a more in-depth view into the spring update once everyone is well into the High Rank grind.The Monster Hunter Twitter account has dropped a few teasers for what we can expect from the first major post-launch patch, along with a vague release window.

Now, thanks to a series of Twitter posts from the Monster Hunter account, we have a little more information on what we can expect."a monster of formidable strength at a level above Tempered." Is that Capcom's way of trying to assuage some pre-launch difficulty concerns? Perhaps.

Mizutsune isn't mentioned here at all, so it's unclear if it counts as either one of these formidable foes. At the very least, it sounds like we're getting an extra, yet-unannounced fight to dive into.revealing the update will bring"a new place to meet, communicate, have meals together and more with other hunters". With a lack of anywhere to sit down and chill with your fellow hunters right now, I'm sure it'll be a much-appreciated addition.
