Viewers will have to wait until the end of August for its return
The One Show will be off air for almost a month as the show takes a break from its usual BBC One slot, presenter Alex Jones has revealed. The Welsh presenter took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 27 to post a picture of her and co-host, Nottingham's Jermain Jenas, from the studio..
Wales Online reports the confirmation came after the 45-year-old bid viewers a farewell at the end of Wednesday's episode. Alex explained to viewers: "That is your lot this week and for a few weeks because we are taking a summer break. We'll be back on August 22. Until then, stay safe and have a lovely summer."The announcement comes after Alex recently announced she was going through a "tricky and challenging" patch in her life.
