The Daily Record is back with the latest edition of our Walk of the Week series, and this time we are venturing to the idyllic Culbin Forest along the Moray coast.

Forestry and Land Scotland states:"The trail is on good, generally flat paths with some moderate slopes. For a shorter walk, head down to the Gravel Pit ponds, where you can have fun spotting shapes in the frozen ice." Culbin is a massive area of coastline and woodland that is classed as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is home to rare animal species — especially birds such as scoters, eider ducks, and pink-footed geese.When the temperature drops, there is nothing quite like a frosty woodland walk. Culbin Forest features a large network of trails that you can explore either on foot or bike.If you're a fan of a beach walk, then you can head to the Culbin Sands RSPB coastal reserve.
