New research has revealed the UK's '48 poshest villages', and among the destinations featured is an idyllic village under an hour from Glasgow.
Scotland's "poshest" village has been named and it's an idyllic spot just 45 minutes from Glasgow that's been described as a "paradise for hikers".
However, many factors quickly come into play such as property prices and amenities, and new research conducted by Savills for The Telegraph has revealed "Britain's 48 poshest villages", due to their desirability. The newspaper wrote: "Kippen is a paradise for hikers, with trails offering enjoyment for beginners and challenges for experts. Nearby Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park offer the chance to catch all types of fish, from salmon to trout."
