A theme park guest ended up 'dangling' from a fence after they appeared to be trying to escape the queue for a ride. The Alton Towers visitor was reported to been attempting to climb a fence when the incident happened.
Alton Towers sits in 500 acres in the nearby Staffordshire countryside. Because of the park's rural nature, an air ambulance was dispatched to the scene, followed by a land ambulance which eventually took the visitor away.A spokesperson for Alton Towers Resort said: “Medical assistance arrived on site to help with a guest whose actions in a queue line led to their foot being caught between two fence posts.
