Victoria Police are searching for three men following a fatal car shooting in Melbourne's north-west.
The incident took place in the suburb of Taylors Hill where a man was shot in the passenger’s seat of a black BMW sedan.
In the lead up to the shooting, police were told the BMW had been chasing another car, a white Mitsubishi sedan, through local streets before the Mitsubishi crashed into bollard barriers at a no-access stop point between Grange Terrace and Johnston Way. Shortly after, a shot was fired through the front windscreen of the car, striking the male passenger in the chest.
The driver of the BMW then moved his car to Vaucluse Boulevard where authorities were contacted for assistance. He also absconded from the scene on foot.
