Brandon Manners handed himself in to police after the incident at a Glasgow bar.
Brandon Manners, 25, pounced on Archibald Sherlock at Glasgow city centre's The Social on February 4 2023. Manners hit Mr Sherlock once on the head from behind after both men left the bathroom area of the bar.Manners pled guilty today at Glasgow Sheriff Court to assaulting Mr Sherlock to his severe injury and impairment. The court heard that Mr Sherlock was at the bar with his son who waited outside for him.
"Mr Sherlock left the toilet and was followed by Manners. Mr Sherlock made his way through the dancefloor when he was punched from behind to the head which caused him to fall to the ground." The victim - who had pain on the side of his face and a bloody nose - did not recall what had happened at the time. Manners handed himself into police two months after the incident.It was reported that Mr Sherlock's eye has moved position which will take some time to heal.
