A thug who 'strangled' a woman in front of a child after she complained about his lack of housework has been jailed.
The 31-year-old was enraged after the woman made the comment to a child in the property.A child watched on as Keltie, now of Knightswood, fractured the woman's cheek bone.
Keltie pleaded guilty last month at Glasgow Sheriff Court to assaulting the woman to her severe injury.Keltie shouted:"Come f***ing get [them]" when a child in the house went into their bedroom.Prosecutor Jessica McGowan said:"When another child asked her a question, she replied that she couldn't answer at the moment because she was stressed due to the lack of help from Keltie."He followed her to the kitchen where there was a child present.
Keltie handed himself into police later that day and stated:"Can we just skip the interview bit and I will just admit it now." Paul Langan, defending, told the court that Keltie is"thoroughly ashamed" and the relationship is at an end.
