The pair - who already had a record for violence and weapons - will be sentenced in July. Cameron Ferguson, 33, was also accused of being involved in the attack. Prosecutor Kath Harper today told the High Court in Glasgow: "The incident was a culmination of escalating tension between the accused, Foy and his associates. It is captured on mobile phone footage with one of the three filming themselves and posting it on Snapchat verbally abusing Foy after the assault.Foy was in the area that night with others. He was said to have had a "large bladed weapon" on him.
The court was told how Foy was heard "screaming" in the graphic footage that was captured. Carnwarth was described as making a "chopping" motion at Foy's legs Ferguson - who had his own leg injury - stood at the top of a hill smoking a cigarette as the attack occurred.
