When the weather turns chilly, many of us resort to drying our clothes indoors to avoid the additional cost of running a tumble dryer. However, if you're battling with condensation and mould in your home, this could be the primary culprit.
Online content creator Sleek Finds on TikTok warned that those who dry clothes indoors would "regret" not heeding her advice. Pointing out the signs of condensation on her windows, she said: "A common culprit is drying wet clothes and towels in the house, especially in the winter months when it's absolutely freezing and very wet outside."
She even puts one inside the washing machine when it's not in use to prevent dampness from causing odours. Dehumidifier boxes are available on Amazon. For instance, a pack of 10 500ml condensation remover boxes can be bought for £11.95 at the time of writing.
